A Note from Acting Principal Gros
It was great to see so many of you come out on Tuesday to welcome the new principal of Justice High School, Maria Eck. I have known Principal Eck for many years and know that you will enjoy getting to know her and that her experiences make her the perfect fit to lead Justice High School.
Part of my responsibilities over the last few weeks has been to fill vacancies on our administrative team to ensure that we have our administrative team ready to go to support Principal Eck. As you know, Assistant Principals Dan Ebeling and Lisa Wooditch both retired after serving FCPS for many years. Assistant Principal Marvana Bennett accepted a new opportunity at Marshall High School, after serving as an AP at Stuart for six years. All of our Deans of Students accepted promotions for the 2018-19 school year! While we get to keep two of them in new roles, Elise Fasick, former Dean of Students, is moving on to an AP position at Madison High School. We wish her all the best.
We are still working to finalize administrative responsibilities for the 2018-19 school year, but in the meantime, here is a look at some new faces joining the Justice team and some familiar ones moving to new roles. We will continue to keep you updated in preparation for the 2018-19 school year and have a few more staff members to introduce who will work with students in a school-wide capacity.
