A Note from Principal Gros
While my new job begins on Monday, I will also be the Acting Principal at Justice High School until a new principal is appointed. There is much to be done and I am excited to continue leading the work to ensure a fantastic 2018-19 school year.
It has been busier than ever as we transition to Justice High School on Monday, July 2nd. A number of facility changes have already been completed and there are many more in progress. I've included a few photos in case you aren't a Twitter user. We are gearing up to host the Credit Recovery Academy for the 3rd straight year under the leadership of Summer School Principal, Lindsey Wilson, who is also an AP at Justice during the school year. We will welcome students to our campus on Monday, July 9th.
Our HVAC system that serves the auditorium is in the process of being replaced which is great news for the many concerts, events, and productions to come in the 2018-19 school year. We are also hiring staff for the coming year and I will definitely send out another communication soon to introduce you to some new faces who will be in leadership positions at Justice.

9th Grade Transition Program
August 15 or August 16, 8-12 noon
Our first ever 9th grade transition program. Don't miss out! Sign up by returning the hard copy registration form that was mailed to all 9th grade homes or through your student's google account. The program is free and on a first come, first available basis. We can accommodate 120 students. Students will receive a free t-shirt!

Wolfpack Welcome
August 24, 4-6pm
This event replaces Raider Day and will be an afternoon to welcome all of our new and returning students. New students can explore the building and all students can access information about activities and athletics, parking passes (11th & 12th), concessions, music and hanging out with friends. Stay and attend our 1st home football game of the new year! Tickets, $5.

Justice HS Dedication Ceremony
September 7, 5pm
We welcome our families and community members to the dedication ceremony for Justice HS where we will honor Barbara Rose Johns, Justice Thurgood Marshall, and Col. Louis Mendez, Jr. and celebrate the new name of our school. We hope you will stay and support our football team at our home game. Tickets, $5.

Bands at the Beach
September 22, Lake Barcroft, Beach 5
Join the Stuart Foundation for a fun event for the whole family. This fundraiser helps to support scholarships for Justice HS seniors. The event includes a food truck, desserts, beverages, and of course, a variety of bands. I went last year and it was such a great event in a perfect setting.
