COLLEGE APPLICATION BOOTCAMP FOR SENIORS
Hot off the
press! The Herndon Writing Center proudly announces our first annual
college application Bootcamp, which will be held August 14, 15, and 16 from
9:00am-12:00pm at Armstrong Elementary School. Students will receive
individual help with their college essays, college applications, and soliciting
their letters of recommendation. A main goal of camp is that all
participants leave with one (or two) final essays that they can use during the
application process. Space will be limited, and we must have 40 students
registered to offer this camp. Tuition is $75. To register, click the link here.
The first 40 participants will be notified that they have been accepted by late
July and if there is more interest, we will begin a wait list. The
contacts for this camp are Kate Hutton, English Teacher, (kghutton@fcps.edu)
and Amanda Hudson, Assistant Principal, (aahudson@fcps.edu).
