Principal Selection Process and Request for Input

Dear Spring Hill Families and Staff,

A meeting was held regarding the Principal Selection Process meeting with Douglas Tyson, Assistant Superintendent, Region 1, and Linda Peace, Human Resources Wednesday afternoon, June 13, 2018.  A link to the slides from the meeting is included below.  As a follow-up, we are asking for your written input regarding the qualities you would like to see in our new Principal. Fairfax County Public School human resource and Assistant Superintendent offices will use your responses to create a profile with which potential candidates will be evaluated. It is for this reason that your input is critical. The county's goal is to ensure that our next principal is a good fit and match for Spring Hill Elementary.

Your thoughts regarding the skills, experience, and leadership characteristics needed for Spring Hill Elementary's new Principal would be greatly appreciated.  Please include any challenges or issues that you think this new Principal would need to address. This input is confidential.
