What's Happening at Mount Eagle
June 1, 2018
Ending on a High Note
We are in the final 2 weeks of the 2017-18 school year, and we're so excited to see the growth our students have made. These last 10 days are still filled with engaging learning in all of our classrooms. Our students are having book club discussions, writing non-fiction books, learning songs and conducting experiments. Each grade level will be preparing a presentation to show what they learned and will share it at a final Learning Celebration on June 15th. Students will be dismissed at 1:30pm that Friday. Please continue to make sure your child is in bed no later than 9pm and up early to be at school on time.
Dress Code Reminders
With the warmer weather, we want to remind our families that students need to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Hooded jackets and sweatshirts are fine as long as the hood is off the head. If students continue to wear the hood up after a reminder, they will be directed to take off the jacket/sweatshirt. Also, flip flops and "slides" are not permitted as they are not safe for recess and PE.
Library Books: Where are You?
Please check to see if you have any Mount Eagle library books at home, at Grandma's, in the car...wherever you do reading. We want to make sure our books are ready for students to read next year!
