During the week of June 11, students in Grades 3-6 will need to return their laptop for summer maintenance. Now is a good time to check with your child to make sure they can locate their charger and their laptop sleeve.  All three pieces (laptop, charger, sleeve) will need to be turned in on their designated turn-in day and any missing or unusable items will incur a replacement charge.  All students will receive a receipt showing either the amount owed or a balance of zero.

Volunteers Needed

Field Day is our way of celebrating the end of a great year.  In order to have this celebration on June 11, we need volunteers to run the upper grade level (4th-6th) stations. Field Day cannot happen without our wonderful volunteers and we greatly appreciate your help.  If you can, we would like to have you volunteer from 9:00 am to 1:00pm.

We are using an online form to generate our volunteer list.

Please visit (https://goo.gl/forms/QbjboJ5Fs79PJB4g2)

If you are unable to use the online form, send in a note with your student or email Mr. Crede at jccrede@fcps.edu.

We are looking forward to a fun Field Day and know your students are too! Thank you very much for all your support!

Mr. Crede and Mr. Flynn

Message from the Clinic

Medication Pickup

The school health room is reminding parents and guardians that all medication stored in the health room must be picked up no later than the student dismissal time on the last day of school, June 15th.

Medication left in the health room after that time will be discarded.  It is school policy that medications must be picked up by the parent or guardian and medication cannot be sent home with your student.

Medication authorization forms for next school year may be obtained from the school or online at https://www.fcps.edu/resources/student-safety-and-wellness/school-health-services.

If you have any questions, please contact your school health room aide, Stacy Cappellari, at 703-633-6710, or your school public health nurse, Amanda Price, at 703-326-6540.
