Yearbook Distribution Friday, June 1st
It’s finally here! Yearbook distribution is tomorrow,
Friday, June 1st all day in Room D205.
A limited number of yearbooks will be available on a
first-come, first-served basis! Send in $90 cash or a check (made out to W. T.
Woodson High School) with your student.

Urgent need for Volunteers for Cav Cruise
The Cav Cruise
(Woodson’s All Night Grad Party) is in jeopardy of a major scale back. We know that
graduation is on a work night, but we are now at a critical juncture where the
scale of the party is in jeopardy of needing to be reduced due to lack of
volunteers. We really do not want to have to do this. We want the seniors
with us on this high-risk night, having a fantastic time with a TON to do!
We are
110 volunteers short for a full event. This event needs over 300 volunteers to go
off and we currently have 190. So WE NEED YOU (Senior and Underclass
parents alike)!
The event is
Wednesday, June 13th from 11pm – 5am. Shifts are 10:30pm – 1:30am and
1:30am – 5am (see the sign up link below).
Specific needs are
the late hour shifts of 1-4am. If you are currently volunteering in an
earlier slot and can either stay the full party (many do and once you
are there the time just flies) or move to the later slot, please update
your availability below. We also need help with transportation of
decorations and supplies on June 12th, the morning of June 13th and at
5am – 7am on June 14th to disassemble and help get everything back to
Woodson.
Please consider
giving your time to help. Not only will the seniors have a good time, it is FUN
for parents as well.
Senior parents, this is your last chance to see your
kids in the High School element with their peers. All parents, this is a
great social and business opportunity. You will leave the party feeling 20
years younger and maybe make some new friends along the way!
