Nominate a Volunteer!
Riverside is so fortunate to have so many volunteers! Our volunteers contribute in a variety of ways: events, Rocket Rangers, classrooms, the Family Food Market...the list goes on and on. For the second year, we are selecting a volunteer for our Volunteer of the Year Award, and we need your help. We believe all of our volunteers should be honored, but we are looking for someone who has truly gone above and beyond in their service to Riverside ES. If you know of anyone who you think fits this description, please email or call Dawn Champion at daansaricham@fcps.edu, 703-799-6000. Please make your nominations by June 1.

Readers love books! If you have gently used books that need a good home,
please consider donating them to Riverside. We will use them for book
shares, book exchanges, and a summer book mobile. For more

After School Programs
Though we’d love to keep them going, unfortunately, our last day for clubs is Thursday, May 31st. We sincerely hope that your students have enjoyed their activities. We are always looking for caring adults to lead clubs for our students. At the very least, the commitment is one hour per week for 12 weeks! Please consider sharing your skills, hobbies and talents with our students in the fall. If you know that you'd like to sponsor a club for our Fall 2018 session, please contact Dawn Champion.
