Auditions:
May 30, 2018 4-5:30 p.m. Mandatory Rehearsals: June 5 & 6, 2018 4-5:30 p.m
Show: June 13, 2018 6 p.m.
We need 6th grade singers, actors, dancers, musicians, jugglers,
hula-hoopers, jump ropers, gymnasts, martial artists, comedians,
magicians...and all other talented 6th grade students to show off their skill!
Herndon Elementary School PTA Sponsored 6th Grade Dance
REMINDER - If you have not already done so, permission forms, signed by a parent, are due by Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in order for your child to attend the 6th grade dance on June 8th in the HES cafeteria.
Each student will be checked in at the dance. If a permission form is not received, your child will not be able to enter the dance. No further follow-up will be given for permission forms not received by May 30.

PTA Sponsored Summer Art&PE Camp Registration Now Open!
Dates: June 19-22, 2018
Times: 8:30am–1:30pm (5 hours per day)
Cost: $100 per participant
This 4 day long camp will offer a variety of different games and
art activities for students in all grades. This camp is open to all Herndon ES
students in grades K- 6. Applications will only be accepted on a first come,
first served basis for the first 50 students. Each camper should wear
proper P.E. clothing each day, which includes tennis shoes. Campers may also
bring water bottles, and a lunch and snack with them.

 Our garden parents, Ms. Olinger and Ms. Geary, brought Sugar Snap Pea Week
to Herndon ES this week. Emily, in Ms. Farace’s
class, exchanged her green wig for the pea pod costume and jumped right in!
