August 22nd from 10:00am - 12:00pm in the Gym.

Spring picture envelopes were sent home this week. Please see the insert for package and payment information. Please return all payments and/or unwanted pictures to Cameron Elementary by Wednesday, May 30th.

Information on Ticks
Tick season is upon us. The weather has warmed and with that comes some unwelcome visitors. With all of the rain we have had recently we are seeing a burst of plant growth and where there is tall grass there may be ticks. Below are links to the Fairfax County Health Department's tick brochures with some useful information in how to help safeguard yourself or what to do if you do find a tick on yourself.

Chuck E. Cheese Night Next Friday
Come join in on the fun! Cameron's 6th Grade Team will be hosting anther Chuck E. Cheese night on Friday, June 1st from 3:00-9:00pm at the Kings Crossing location, 6301 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA 22306. Come and hang out while supporting the 6th Grade Team and most of all, while having loads of fun!!
Popsicles in the Park
Attention new Kindergarten families! Come meet Cameron's Kindergarten Teachers and other new Kindergarten families at a small meet and greet event, Popsicles in the Park! The event will take place on Thursday, May 31st at the playground next to the school at 3:00pm. Parents and new Kindergartners are invited to come relax, "chill out" and meet other Kindergarten families and little Kindergarten friends.
The Kindergarten team will be available for informal questions and comments.
We cannot wait to see you!!
Field Day Volunteers Needed
Field Day will be Monday, June 11th. Volunteers are needed to help make this day a success!
