3rd grade

3rd graders learn how an assembly line makes work faster. It looks like it is also more fun!

Book Swap

The Lees Corner Book Swap provides an opportunity for students to trade books: bring a book, take a book.

Goal: Get students excited about reading over the summer!

How it works: Students bring in GENTLY used books (no written marks or ripped pages, please!!).  For each book turned in during the collection, a student may select a new book from the swap.  No limit to bringing in books, 15 book limit per student on choosing new books

Dates:

June 7 & 8: Students bring in books BEFORE school

June 11 & 12: Book Swap in the library
