Chantilly HS seniors visited GBW last Friday to talk to GBW students about their college choices.
We are looking forward to Teacher Appreciation Week, May
7-11! We are proud to have such a fabulous staff here at GBW.
The
PTA is providing a special luncheon on Wednesday, as well as additional planned
activities of recognition for the week. A simple note of thanks to
staff--to classroom teachers, to other teachers and specialists who support
students throughout their day--is always appreciated!
The GBW staff works
incredibly hard each and every day to provide the best for your children.
Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for the GBW staff: They are the
BEST!

Begins on Monday
SOL
testing will occur from Monday, May 7 through Friday, June 8.
Students will be using their

charger each day. While in the testing location, these devices
may be used for SOL testing ONLY. Accessing other websites,
programs, social media, emails, or network folders is prohibited.
In addition, SOL testing policy states that students cannot use unauthorized electronic devices of any kind during the testing session. This includes cell phones, MP3 players, electronic translators, cameras, smart watches, fitness tracker, etc. Please encourage your child to leave these at home on their SOL test day.
