Good Afternoon Waples Mill Families,
It was great seeing so many families last week at our outstanding Band and Chorus Concert, as well the exciting 6th grade basketball game at Oakton High School! We'd like to thank the many parent volunteers who worked so hard in planning and running this memorable event for our students and families. Mr. Feldman was quite surprised when he was recognized for his long-standing commitment to our school community!

Optional 2018-19 Class Placement Survey
As we determine class placements for the upcoming school year,
please know that it is a collaborative process involving the teachers and
specialists who work with your child. This team effort is performed with great
care. It is our intention to place each student in an environment appropriate
to his or her academic, social and emotional development. If you would like to
share additional information about your child and the type of learning
environment best suited for him/her, that your child’s current teacher may not
be aware of, please go to our school website at https://waplesmilles.fcps.edu/ and
click on the WMES Class Placement Survey. We carefully consider parent
input, but ask that you not request specific teachers.
Completion of this form is optional.
