Wolverine Community,
Happy Friday! Another great week has concluded at West
Potomac. I wanted to remind you that yesterday during homeroom/advisory
report cards were distributed to all students. If you haven’t reviewed
your child’s 3rd quarter grades in ParentVue, please be sure to ask
your child for their report card. While the end of the year is quickly
approaching there is still work to accomplish whether it is final preparation
for AP exams, SOLs, or working to end the year on a positive note in classes.
While there is still time, please know that summer learning opportunities
within FCPS are available on the FCPS website whether it be a new class or
credit recovery.
If you haven’t reviewed it yet, our Spring testing calendar
to include final exam schedule is posted on the WPHS website. On Tuesday
May 8th in homeroom/advisory each student taking an SOL will get an
individual notice with the date, time and location of their SOL(s).
This week we celebrated our All A and A/B Honor Roll.
We had the second largest All A Honor Roll in the last five years! My
thanks to our PTSA Academic Boosters and their sponsors Moe’s and Burke &
Herbert Bank for making our student recognition efforts possible. On
Monday we celebrate 55 3rd Quarter Rising Stars during Homeroom!
Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend!
