Student Intentions for Next School Year
It is important as we prepare for the upcoming school year that we have accurate information regarding your student's intentions for the 2018-2019 school year. Please return the Student Intention form going home today to your child's teacher by May 11, 2018.
Student
Placements for 2018-19
While it is still early to be thinking ahead to next school
year, we want to give you information about class placements for the 2018-19
school-year ahead of time. The staff at Sangster works hard to place
students in an optimal learning situation each year. If you have some
information that would help us make those decisions, please send your comments in
writing to Ms. Reddel by June 8. Please do not list teacher
names. Rather, describe the learning environment in which your
child learns best.
Progress Reports
3rd Quarter Progress Reports will be coming
home with the students on Thursday, April 26th. Please review, sign and return the Progress Report envelope..
Sangster Summer Stock
Musical Theatre Camp
July 9th - July 20th
9:00am - 1:00 pm
Celebrating its 15th
year, the PTA will once again be sponsoring Sangster Summer Stock for rising 3rd
through 7th graders.
For ten non-stop days, our
young actors, actresses, and production crew will participate in a musical
theatre camp that allows them to experience life as a summer stock
performer. Children with all levels of performance experience will work
on musical theatre techniques, voice, song study, and movement, while
they intensively rehearse for a musical revue that will be performed on the
last day of camp. In our dynamic and comprehensive program, participants will
have the opportunity to also build scenery, props, and be introduced to all
aspects of theatrical production. This will be a fun and rewarding
experience as students work to successfully put up a show in just ten days.
For more information about
the program be on the look-out for information in the upcoming Thursday folders
or contact Jennifer Lambert, director, at jalambert@fcps.edu.
