Paying for Field Trips and Yearbooks!
Now that we are well underway with this program, I’d like to
provide a few reminders:
- Be sure to
go to “SCHOOL STORE” to find the field trip and/or yearbook and pay.
- When paying
for field trips, remember that there are two
choices in most cases:
“Students” and “Chaperones”. Please be sure to
choose the correct one when paying. If you are paying for your
student, be sure to choose the “Student” option. If you are paying
for yourself as a chaperone, be sure to choose “Chaperone”.
We
hope that you are finding MSB an easy and convenient way to pay for field
trips!
IMPORTANT
SOL TESTING INFORMATION
Our students grades 3-6 will take the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL
Tests) starting May 8, 2018. It will be very
helpful if you can avoid appointments which may take your child out of school
during this time period. Also, it will help your child to perform his or
her best if he or she has had a good night’s rest and a healthy breakfast and
comes to school with a positive attitude.
We
are aware that Ramadan does begin during this window. If your child will
be fasting during this time and you would like to discuss possible testing
adjustments, please contact your child's teacher.

Launching
Mental Health Google Site
Mental health has been a “hot button” topic in our country over
the past few months. School counselors are excited to share a new mental
health resource site for our Chantilly community!
As elementary, middle, and high school counselors continue to work
with families in each school, we felt it necessary to share similar information
and resources with everyone in grades K through 12. The Chantilly
Pyramid’s comprehensive Google site link can be found here https://sites.google.com/view/chantillycounselorsresources/home or
on our GBE Website.
Feel free to access the sites on your own. If you have specific questions
or needs, contact your child’s school counselor
directly.
