OCES Bike Rodeo on April 29

The Bike Rodeo will be on April 29 from 1:30 – 3:00 and it is a great way for kids to learn/review bike safety!  This is an event with a fun obstacle course, a station to help fix your bike, a station to make sure your helmet fits, and most importantly....raffle prizes!  Any student who joins the Bike Rodeo will be entered into a raffle to win a gift card from Chik-Fil-A, University Mall Theaters, or Kokee Tea.  Bring your bike to the OCES Blacktop and get prepared to have some fun!

Bike/Walk to School Day on May 9

International Bike/Walk to School Day is an event that encourages students to make the healthy choice of walking/biking to and from school.  We ask that anyone who would like to participate, register with us through the Google Forms link below.  The first 100 registrants can get a free Olde Creek Bike to School Day t-shirt while supplies last!  So please sign up ASAP! The rain date for this event will be May 11.

New to this year, we will have a raffle for adults volunteering on the Bike Trains.  The prizes include gift certificates/cards to places like Orange Theory Fitness, Oh George's, Potomac River Running, Chik-Fil-A, and University Mall Theaters. Parents leading Bike Train help promote safety for children participating in the event. Please consider volunteering by filling out the Google Form link below. For more info, come to the Bike Rodeo and we can answer your questions directly or ask Mike Essig at essigmw@gmail.com.

Finally, we will need a couple of specific breakfast item donations.  Chesapeake Bagel--as they have done in the past--have offered to donate bagels to the event!  We will need items like cream cheese, napkins, juice, water, and sliced fruit.  If you can donate, please sign up at the Google Form link below.
