Dear Lake Anne Families,
What a wonderful week of learning we had! Many groups went on field trips last week,
and there are several more field trips coming up. We remain grateful to our PTA for their
continued support of field trip opportunities for our students.
Coming up this week, we invite families of students in
preschool through second grade to attend Partners in Print on Thursday evening
at 6:30 in the cafeteria. We are also
looking forward to a celebration of reading on Friday, organized by our
librarian extraordinaire, Mrs. Sigle. Guest
readers from our community will come all day on Friday and read aloud to
classes for Dia de los Ninos y Libros. And, we look forward to seeing you on Friday
night at the PTA’s School Dance.

Coming Up…
During the week of April 30-May 4, we will celebrate all of
our teachers, assistants, custodians, and others who work at Lake Anne to
support our students. Please keep a
look-out for ways you can help us celebrate our wonderful Lake Anne staff!
Also during the week of April 30-May 4, we will celebrate a “Stress
Less” week with students with a variety of activities throughout the week. As we approach the time of year when students
are busy working on tests, projects, and other assignments, our counselors and
others in the school will work to teach students different ways to slow down
and relax.
