Good evening, Lane families!
Tomorrow - Friday, April 13th - is a very special spirit day at Lane – “Purple Up!" for Military
Kids Day! We will be celebrating the Month of the Military Child tomorrow by wearing
purple to show support for our military families.
Purple is the color that
symbolizes all branches of the military as it is the combination of Army green,
Coast Guard blue, Air Force blue, Marine red, and Navy blue. More than 20
percent of Lane’s families are military-connected.
Please encourage your child
to pick out the perfect purple outfit to wear tomorrow to honor these dedicated
families in our community who sacrifice so much to keep up safe and free.
