Whitman’s Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon to the Library!
April 20-26, 2018
On Friday, April 20, Monday, April 23, and Tuesday, April 24, students will preview the books that are available at the Book Fair during the school day with their Advisory classes and make a wish list of their favorites. Students may also shop at this time if they are prepared to make purchases.
The Fair will also be open during the school day on Wednesday, April 25 and Thursday, April 26 from 7:30 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. You may either decide with your student about what to buy and send them to school with payment (cash or checks made payable to “Whitman Middle School”) or shop on your own (we also accept all major credit cards). Please remember to sign in with the office and get a Visitor’s sticker before making your way to the Library
There are also volunteer opportunities if you would like to help connect Whitman’s students with books. We will need help with our Preview Friday, April 20 through Tuesday, April 24 and with shopping on Wednesday, April 25 and Thursday, April 26. The Fair will be packed up at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 26.
