What's your Middle School child doing this
Summer?
Like you, we believe your child is a very
important person and deserves a summer experience that is safe and full of
fitness, friends, fun and enrichment. FCPS and Fairfax County Department of
Neighborhood and Community Services (DNCS) have teamed up to offer a 5 week
camp for rising 7th and 8th graders in the Western Fairfax area. Campers
will have a great time playing sports, games, cooking and exploring concepts in
science and technology. Field trips to local water parks and amusement parks
also give campers exciting experiences to look forward to with their new
friends. The staff is led by your local After-School Specialists and
trained DNCS staff.

4/9 - 4/13 - No Regular After-School Activities
- Teacher assistance available by appointment
- Late Buses at 4:30pm on Monday/Wednesday/Thursday
4/12 - SCA Spring Fling Dance
- 2:30 - 4:30pm in the cafeteria
- Tickets on sale for $3.00 during lunches
- All other regular after-school activities are cancelled
4/13 - PTA Western Fairfax Basketball Classic @ Lanier
- Our annual basketball tourney with teams from Lanier, Langston Hughes, Liberty, and Stone
- Doors open at 6:00PM - Tipoff is at 6:30PM
- Tickets on sale for $5 at the door
5/4 - Lanier Futsal Copa 2018 @ Lanier
- Our Spring Futsal tournament between Lanier, Rachel Carson, Hernson and Langston Hughes Middle Schools
