This was a shortened week of school as mother nature flourished the ground with snow. We hope you were able to enjoy family time together and were safe and warm! Kindergarten Registration is right around the corner! If you have a child who is going to turn 5 years old before September 30, 2018, please register your child for Kindergarten. We encourage you to share this information with your friends and neighbors who may have a child who is eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year.
Centre Ridge Kindergarten Registration (parents ONLY) is Monday, April 2nd (9:00-4:00) for the school year 2018-19. Forms and other information are available on line at https://www.fcps.edu/registration/kindergarten-registration. Forms are also available in the front office for your convenience.
Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for Monday, April 16 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. This event includes your child. Parents will participate in an information session regarding bus transportation procedures, breakfast/lunch routines, care of students in the clinic, and an overview of the kindergarten curriculum.

If yes, he or she may need a booster dose of Tdap (tetanus,
diphtheria, acellular pertussis). Sixth grade students cannot begin
school in August without documentation of the Tdap booster. Parents or
guardians should ask their private healthcare provider, or the health
department, to review their child’s immunization record if they are unsure if
their child has received the Tdap booster. Documentation must be provided
to the school student information assistant (SIA) or registrar as soon as
possible.

Heritage Night is scheduled for Friday, June 1, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Forms went home with students looking for volunteers to help make the event extra special for our students and their families. Please feel free to volunteer in any of the following areas: help set up and/or clean up, and food donations of cultural food items. Contact us if you have questions or need a new volunteer form!

Be on the look out! Square 1 Art catalogs and order forms are coming home
soon. Purchase a keepsake of your child's artwork while supporting our Art
Department.
2017-2018 Yearbooks are on sale now. Order forms were sent home in last week's Tuesday Folder. If you need another order form, you can pick one up in the main office. Please make checks payable to Centre Ridge ES.
