Date Reminders: As a reminder, school will be closed for spring break from March 26-30. Monday, April 2, is a school planning day and a holiday for students; our offices will be open from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 3, for students.

Odyssey of the Mind: Congratulations to the nine SEES teams for their success at the Odyssey of the Mind Regional Tournament! All of the teams did extremely well, with three of them placing third in their divisions and one placing first. The first place team advances to the State Tournament on April 14 in Newport News.

STEM exCEL Classes: The next session of STEM exCEL classes starts the week of April 9. Classes include: Electronics with Minecraft Redstone, Introduction to Game Design, and Website Design. To register, visit: https://stemexcel.org/springfieldestates/.

PTA Meeting: Our next PTA meeting is on April 5 at 6:30pm in the SEES cafeteria. The big topics will be Spring Bingo and next year's PTA Board and Chair positions, as elections will occur in May for the PTA Board. As always, there will be a parent/teacher open forum which is a great way to ask any questions of fellow parents as well as teachers/staff.

Lost and Found: Please visit the Lost and Found area in the SEES cafeteria to see if any of your child’s clothing is there. The Lost and Found area is overflowing with jackets, gloves and hats! Any clothing not claimed will be donated after Spring Break.

Run Clubs: Over 50 students have signed up! We are still looking for volunteers — please contact Ms. Miller (cnmiller@fcps.edu) or Ms. Montagna (rlmontagna@fcps.edu) to help.
