Olde Creek Bears love to learn in our NEW Outdoor Classroom!

Olde Creek Families…

Our students and staff members have been working incredibly hard, are constantly collaborating with each other, and have been learning and growing together during the first seven months of the year. We have so much to be proud of and we are excited to head into the final months of the academic year with lots of energy and positive momentum. Below are a few calendar reminders for the next few weeks:

  • March 26-March 30 is Spring Break (Olde Creek ES Offices will be closed).
  • April 2 (Monday after Spring Break) is a student holiday.
  • Friday, April 13 is a 2-Hour Early Release Day (and the end of third quarter)
  • Monday, April 16 is a Student Holiday

We hope that all of you have a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable Spring Break! We can’t wait to hear about it when the students return on April 3.

VIP Summer Camp for Rising 7th Graders

What is your middle school child doing this summer? Like you, we believe your child is a very important person and deserves a summer experience that is safe and full of fitness, friends, fun and enrichment.  FCPS and the Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Services (DNCS) have teamed up to offer a 5 week camp for rising 7th and 8th graders attending Frost, Irving, Lake Braddock, Robinson, and South County Middle Schools. There is a $50 camp supply fee and small fees for specific field trips.  Campers will have a great time playing sports, games, doing arts and crafts and cooking. Field trips to local waterparks and amusement parks also give campers exciting experiences to look forward to with their new friends.  The staff is comprised of FCPS teachers and support staff, After School Program Specialists, and trained DNCS staff. Transportation is provided to and from each middle school to South County Middle School.
