Hello Frost Families,
I hope everyone fared well in that unexpected late March
snow storm! I know the kids were excited (even with spring break right
around the corner) to get a couple of snow days. I want to wish everyone
an enjoyable, and restful week off over spring break. We will continue
with our practice of ensuring that students and staff take the time off to be
with family and friends without having to worry about school work. This
is a chance for everyone to refresh their batteries as we gear up for the last
quarter of the school year. As always, our website has a variety of
resources, phone numbers, and points of contact should you need assistance over
the break.
A few calendar reminders:
- March 26-March 30 is
Spring Break (Frost MS Offices will be closed).
- April 2 (Monday after
Spring Break) is a student holiday.
- After School Programming will be held April 3 - 5, only.
- No After School Programming on April 6
- Friday, April 13 is a
2-Hour Early Release Day (and the end of third quarter)
- Monday, April 16 is a
Student Holiday
Have a great week, and I look forward to welcoming the kids
back on Tuesday, April 3 as we gear up for the final stretch of the school
year! Take care.
Eric
VIP Summer Camp
What
is your middle school child doing this summer? Like you, we believe your child
is a very important person and deserves a summer experience that is safe and
full of fitness, friends, fun and enrichment. FCPS and the Fairfax County
Department of Neighborhood and Community Services (DNCS) have teamed up to
offer a 5 week camp for rising 7th and 8th graders attending Frost, Irving,
Lake Braddock, Robinson, and South County Middle Schools. There is a $50 camp
supply fee and small fees for specific field trips. Campers will have a
great time playing sports, games, doing arts and crafts and cooking. Field
trips to local waterparks and amusement parks also give campers exciting

comprised of FCPS teachers and support staff, After School Program Specialists,
and trained DNCS staff. Transportation is provided to and from each middle
