Calendar Reminders: As a reminder, Spring Break for students will begin next week on Monday, March 26, and last through Monday, April 2.
Monday, April 2, is also a teacher workday. The office will be closed during spring break. Classes will resume on Tuesday,

Planning Ahead: 2018-19 School Year Calendar: If you are planning ahead for the next school year, check out the 2018-19 school year calendar online. Notable dates include the first day of school, August 28; Thanksgiving Break, November 21-23; Winter break, December 24, 2018-January 4, 2019; Spring Break, April 15-19, 2019; and the last day of school, June 13, 2019.
PTA Updates:
Spring
Student Enrichment Programs: Information was sent home in Thursday Folders. Enrichment
programs and registrations are posted on our PTA Website (www.kmespta.org). The KMES PTA is excited
to offer a wide variety of programs including: RunFit Kidz, STEM Robotics, Intro to Game Design, Green
Thumb, and Chess Club.
Read-a-thon: Thank you to everyone who participated! We have exceeded our goal in minutes read with over 170,000 minutes recorded and over $10,000 in donations!! The special assembly has been booked! We really appreciate your support of this fundraiser. The money raised will be used to support our school in various ways such as Author Visits, Technology, Field Trips, Teacher Grants, and school supplies for the classrooms.
Save the Date! Ledo's Restaurant Night will be April 10th and 11th from 5:00-9:00 p.m.
Order Your Yearbook Now and SAVE! Yearbooks can be ordered online HERE Search for Keene Mill Elementary School and submit your order by April 30th and pay $17. Orders placed after April 30th will be $20.
