SCHOOL NEWS: See you tonight!
WTOP "Click for Kids" - Help RVES win BIG! We are at a distinct disadvantage being a small school up against large elementary, middle and high schools - but we have the power of social media in our pockets! You can vote EVERY DAY for Rolling Valley to win $10,000. Go to https://wtop.com/2018-click-for-kids/2018-click-kids-voting/ and share with others! Vote often!
Annual Dollar Drive for Technology: Rolling Valley will be
holding the 5th annual Dollar Drive March 19 through March 23
to raise funds for new technology. The drive will be set up as a contest
between grade levels to raise the most money. Each grade level will have a
bin in which students can donate pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and
dollars. Pennies are worth 1 point, nickels 5 points, dimes 10
points, quarters 25 points, and dollars are worth 200 points! The grade
level with the most points will be rewarded with an ice cream movie
party. The bins will be placed in the front lobby each morning. Bins will
be counted every day and grade level progress will be charted. If you have any
questions, please contact Keith London.
Toys from the Decades? The 50th Anniversary Planning Committee is
looking for toys from the 60s and 70s. They will be displayed and returned to
you (and not played with!) Please bring them into the school clearly marked with your name. Thank you so much for your help!!
