GBE Spelling Bee
 Our
GBE Spelling Bee always demonstrates how all GBE students are an exemplary
group of children. The audience was
quiet, respectful, and engaged for over an hour and a half in watching the bee. All of the twenty contestants battled valiantly.
At the end, Vidula Bharath, Nadia Corea, and Sirena Stoddard continued to persevere, but Vidula Bharath was
ultimately declared the GBE Champion. Congratulations to all of our
spelling bee participants. All students were able to spell words that
many adults would have had trouble recognizing much less spelling.

 In addition to Sirena Stoddard, third place winner; Nadia Corea, second place winner, and Vidula Bharath, our first place winner, the following students represented their classrooms well: Arjun Jothiramalingam, Alanis Tiea, Advithi Sriram, Matthew Exley, Janine Khandker, Leo Chongtrakul, Lucy Ivy, Mina Habibi, Aryaan Syed, Meghana Nannapaneni, Selena Boulden Borda, Tara Kamrani, Mindy Tran, James Exley, Camila Canelas Soto, Charan Duggireddy, and Laura Mineo.

Due to the inclement weather last Friday, March 2nd, we have rescheduled "Dr.
Seuss’ Sleep Book Day" for this Friday, March 9th. On this day students are to wear
their favorite pajamas. Students will also enjoy reading
activities and read-ins.
