Beauty and the Beast Ticket Orders
The deadline for ordering online through MySchoolBucks is this Friday, March 16th, but advance sale tickets will still be available for purchase in the front office if ticket orders are received before 12 noon each day. Tickets can also be purchased at the door the evening of the show for $6/ticket (exact change appreciated).

Great Break” Reading Challenge: Back by Popular Demand
Students are encouraged to enjoy reading over Spring Break and may also complete
an optional challenge in next week’s take home folders where they make, draw or
build something they have read and then take a picture of their creation.
Students who return a photo by April 12th will be included in an
upcoming Kings Glen after school MakerSpace celebration. Contact Carolyn
Dean or Lisa Rode with any questions.

Glen Yearbook Online Sales Starting Now
It
is time to get your Kings Glen 2017-2018 school yearbook. You can preorder our KG Yearbook online using school code 13277218. The cost
this year remains the same at $18, with no additional online fees. Use
the online system and reserve your student’s yearbook to be delivered in June. Order forms for cash and check payments were sent home in the March 13 Tuesday folders.

Wellness Wednesday
March 21, 2018
The Health Promotion Team from the Fairfax County Health Department will be in the cafeteria during lunchtime on March 21st with a display titled "Sugar Shockers". Examples of common food items and how much sugar is in each one as well as the effects of sugar on the body will be included. There will be opportunities for students to ask questions as they wait in the cafeteria line and/or after they eat. Please see the health room (clinic) with any questions or concerns.

you know that FCPS has Fairfax County police officers as school resource
officers (SROs) in all secondary, high & middle schools? Join us as Officer
Petrovich gives an overview of the role of an SRO and takes your questions this
Thursday, March 15 at 6:30pm in the KG cafeteria. Following the guest speaker,
there will be a vote by the general membership on the updated KPKG PTA bylaws. A
copy of the draft bylaws are posted to the PTA website.

spring team, brought to you by KPKG PTA! The spring program starts Thursday,
April 5th and runs for 7 weeks. Registration opened on February 23.
