Parking Reminder
Please help us be good
neighbors by parking only in designated areas. Recently, neighbors have
expressed frustration regarding cars blocking driveways during
arrival and dismissal times. Blocking a drive for "only a of couple of
minutes" to pick up or drop off a student is not an acceptable reason.
Fairfax County Police Officers have increased their patrols and have
issued tickets to drivers who are parked illegally. Thank you for you
assistance.

Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
Arrival and dismissal are busy times of the school day. To help ensure a safe orderly experience at those times we ask all parents/caregivers to adhere to the following procedures:
-
During arrival, parents/caregivers wishing to walk children to their classroom must arrive prior to the 8:25 a.m. tardy bell (school doors open at 8:05 a.m.).
-
At dismissal (3:10 p.m.), parents/caregivers picking up students must wait outside to meet their student.

Are you one of those organized people who plans a week of meals on Sunday? Yeah, neither are we! Luckily, we've got Tuesday (tonight) covered for everyone!
Plan for dinner out this Tuesday, March 6 for HMES PTA's Restaurant Night at Chipotle Mexican Grill at Beacon Hill! From 4-8pm, Chipotle will donate 50% of the proceeds to our PTA! Bring the blue or green flyer from Tuesday folders, show this FB post or just remind them you're with Hollin Meadows. And please, tell your friends & neighbors to come too -- this is a great way for the PTA to make some money & for you to get your burrito fix!
