The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a High Wind
Warning for the entire area from 3 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 2. According to
the NWS: Damaging winds are likely, with gusts around 60 to 70 mph, which may
result in widespread wind damage and numerous power outages.
Fairfax
County Public Schools is closely monitoring the weather and any potential
impact to school operations. Any changes to operations will be communicated by
5:15 a.m. tomorrow morning.
