The SCA is excited to help
fight childhood cancer by supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s
Pennies for Patients fundraiser from Monday, February 26th to
Friday, March 16th. Please talk to your children about the
importance of giving back, see what donation your family would be comfortable
making, and encourage your children to work for it by helping around the house
over the next few weeks! If you would like to donate by check, please
make checks payable to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). To donate

We have some special events
planned as part of this fundraiser so please watch the Puma Press for more
details. Our first event is this Wednesday, February 28th.
Students are encouraged to “Skip a snack, save a life.” We are asking
students to skip buying the extras at lunch that day: no cookie, water,
popcorn, etc. and to instead donate the amount they would have spent to their
classroom donation box that day.
