Chemistry Olympiad – Test March 7, Last week to Sign Up!!

The Washington Area Local Section of the American Chemical Society (ACS) is now seeking students interested in the 2018 United States National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO). The Society will use the 2018 USNCO Local Section Examination to select those students who will go on to the USNCO National Examination in April. According to USNCO rules, only 20 students per school are allowed to take the exam. For that reason, the exam will be given only to students who have taken AP Chemistry or are currently enrolled in AP Chemistry.
The Local Section Exam is a timed multiple-choice exam of 60 questions in 110 minutes. Students must be younger than 20 years old on July 1st.
The Exam will be held in Room 119 on Wednesday, March 7, at 3:00pm.
Students can sign up for the exam using the Google Form at this link: Sign Up Here. The first 20 students to sign up, will be selected to take the exam. The LAST DAY TO SIGN UP is FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23.
