From the Principal:

Dear Parents,

I am pleased to tell you we have a new Visitor Management System for our front office. This new system has been given to us by FCPS, and you will see it in your elementary and high school currently or in the near future. You will need to bring a driver’s license or passport to be scanned by the system each time you come to school. Thank you for your cooperation with this new procedure.

Second Step Program

This week Liberty Middle School kicked off lessons during Lion Time classes using resources from the award winning Second Step Program. Second Step uses an engaging electronic platform to teach students about essential communication and decision-making skills.  Our first lesson focused on “Strengthening Friendships” and “Building Positive Relationships.” Through this new Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiative, Liberty continues to support all students and enhance our positive learning environment.

Liberty Library Help Needed

The library is looking for assistance with wrapping books.
No experience necessary…training is provided.
You can wrap books in the comfort of your home while you relax… and watch TV possibly!  Thank you for considering.  Please contact Mary Kay or Tricia at 703 988-8196, mksnyder@fcps.edu, or pklude@fcps.edu
