Cardinal Forest ES' cafeteria staff members are always in the zone–the Energy Zone!
Being thoughtful about
what you share on your professional or personal social media accounts is critical. Making smart choices can prevent mishaps that could
negatively impact you and the school division. To help you stay on track, FCPS has developed new, easy-to-digest social
media guidance for staff. It focuses on
social media use for non-instructional purposes, such as communicating with
parents and stakeholders, or connecting with family and friends. So, before you
tweet or post, please review our social media guidance and encourage your colleagues to do the same. Questions?

#OurFCPS Faces: Raquel Francese
Raquel Francese joined FCPS in 1993. She is an "outstanding parent liaison" at Liberty MS and Brookfield ES. Raquel describes her role as being a link between schools and their families. She says, "I work closely with school counselors, social workers, teachers, administrators, and other parent liaisons in both of my schools." Raquel helps parents navigate the school system; coordinates parent teacher conferences; interprets and translates English to Spanish; assists with school events, and does much, much more! She always encourages parents to join the PTA and volunteer as ways to get involved with their children's education.
Raquel truly enjoys what she does. "I have always liked helping others, and as parent liaison, I get to work with families from different countries and help them
understand [the school system]. In her free time, Raquel enjoys traveling, painting, and spending time with family and friends. Thank you for providing excellent service to our schools and families, Raquel!
