Show Your Support For FCPS Employees and the FCPS Honors.

A pillar of the Foundation for FCPS's support is Employee Recognition programs, for some of the 27,500 employees at FCPS. This year, through monthly celebrations in each region, #FCPSCares is recognizing employees at every level, culminating in the star-studded FCPS Honors event, to be held this year on Wednesday, June 6 at 6:00 pm at Mason's Center for the Arts.

Sponsorships are now available. Your $5,000 contribution allows a top-level executive in your company to present an award to one of our deserving winners! Or you can choose to make a contribution toward this effort in honor of a deserving teacher or employee. More information can be found on the Foundation's website

Donor Corner - Asha-Jyothi

The Foundation for FCPS works with many terrific donors throughout the year. Our focus this month is Asha-Jyothi, a non-profit founded in 2003 to serve the needs of the underprivileged. Fully volunteer based, Asha-Jyothi is actively involved in giving back to the local community and Fairfax County Public Schools. From providing backpacks and school supplies, to funding a new "Maker Space" at Chantilly High School, to weekend meals at an elementary school, Asha-Jyothi has already made a impact in a short time here at FCPS.

More information about the organization and their programs, including their annual Walk-athon at Fairfax Corner, can be found on their website.

We thank Asha-Jyothi for its support of FCPS and our students!
