 Glasgow Community -
Happy New Year! We are looking forward to having the building busy with students and staff tomorrow.
Winter break provided me the opportunity to relax and catch up on my to-do list around the house. Most importantly, the break meant quality time with my family, including seeing the Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Coco with my family introducing my son and youngest daughter to Tae Kwon Do!
As we get back into the normal routines of school, I would like to call your attention to a few important items. First, for those of you with current 8th grade students (rising 9th graders), we hope you will join us at the Stuart High School Rising 9th Grade Information & Curriculum Night Thursday, January 4 at 6:30PM. See below for additional information.
Also, as we move into the coldest weeks of the winter season, please keep an eye on the weather and possible delays and cancellations. You can learn more about the weather cancellation procedures and sign up for weather schedule alerts here: https://www.fcps.edu/resources/safety-and-transportation/weather-cancellation-procedures.
As I have said before, it is privilege to work with your students each and every day. We look forward to celebrating their progress with you for the rest of year!
Sincerely, Shawn P. DeRose Principal
