Oak Hill Staff dressed up for Festive Winter Wear Spirit Day.
The Oak Hill Office will close at 4:30pm on Friday, December
15th and will re-open on Tuesday, January 2nd at
8:00am. We wish you a relaxing break with your family and a very happy new
Year!
Dear
Parents,
It was so
wonderful to see many of you during the last couple of weeks for the Strings and
Chorus Concerts as well as volunteering in classrooms with special events! We appreciate all that you do to support our
staff and student body. I would like to
invite your child to slide in to the
New Year and beat those wintertime blues with some Oak Hill Spirit! We have
some easy and fun spirit days planned for the month of January to keep students
and staff feeling positive, healthy and a part of a greater school community. To access the calendar of Spirit Days at Oak
Hill, click here.
You can also see the days listed below in the calendar portion of our
news. We look forward to the fun and ask
that hats not be worn during school with the exception of Thinking Hat Tuesday
on January 23rd. Thank you
for your support!
From the
entire Oak Hill Staff, we wish all of you a safe and joyous Winter Break with
family and friends. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to further support your child’s learning and experience at Oak Hill. My door is always open!
Sincerely,
Holly DeVore, Principal

Currently in PE we just finished
our gymnastics unit. This unit focused on the flexibility fitness component. We also were challenging the students to learn new movement patterns that they
are not accustomed to doing.
We are presently working on our
dribbling unit by manipulating an object by hand. This unit will last about 3
weeks. Over the break we encourage the
students to stay active, maybe check your google classroom for an at home
physical activity that could earn your child some extra PE time.
