Dear Lake Anne Families,
We have a short week this week, as Thanksgiving is on
Thursday. We would like to take this
opportunity to thank you for all that you do to support your children’s learning. As the saying goes, “it takes a village” and
we are thankful you are a part of ours!
Please remember that
school will dismiss early on Wednesday.
Students will be dismissed at 1:35 pm.
Our main office will also close early on Wednesday so that our staff can
go home and hopefully be ahead of the holiday traffic.

Picture Retake &
Make-up day
On Tuesday, November 28, students will be able to retake or
make-up their school pictures. If you
would like for your student to retake their photo, simply send a note or email
to their teacher. You can also contact
Sue Garrison in the main office (swgarrison@fcps.edu)
Lake Anne Musicians
are performing!
Our Chorus and 6th grade Orchestra will be
performing at the Holiday Kick-Off Event at Lake Anne Plaza on Saturday,
December 2 between 11 am and 12 pm. You
can stop by and cheer for our students, as well as visit the activities,
crafts, and food that will be available in the Lake Anne Plaza for this
event.
Some members of the Chorus and Band will also be performing
at the PTA’s Holiday Shopping Fundraiser at Barnes & Noble in Fair Lakes on
Sunday, December 3 between 1pm and 5pm.
A big thank you to our music teachers and to all the parents
who are helping to make both of these performances possible.
