If I Could Have a Do-Over: A Father’s Hard-Earned Lessons About Cyberbullying, Depression, and Suicide
Wednesday, October 25, 7 to 9 p.m. LMS Lecture Hall
Are you concerned about your middle schooler’s safety in
the world of smartphones? Do you know the passwords for all the sites they
visit and the apps they use? Don’t miss the very informative parent
presentation by outspoken anti-bullying advocate John Halligan. John
understands the cyber‐world that middle school students inhabit and knows how
it can easily be abused by young teens. Come find out what he wishes he had
been told when his son started using computers and some of the warning signs
that your child might be bullied, might be bullying, or might be a bystander. Make
time to come because your kids will thank you. See Mr. Halligan’s website for
more details. Mr. Halligan will bring his
message to Longfellow’s 7th grade students during regular school hours on the
same day.

including Principal Kihm and our new Assistant Principal Kevin Sami. Our
international community is so special to the Longfellow community. Did you know that over 70 languages are spoken by families at Longfellow? If you would like more

The verification process for this year’s Student Directory has begun.
You should have received an email on Wednseday, October 11th, and a reminder email
on Thursday, October 19th, from longfellow@schooldirectoryupdate to verify your
family’s directory information.
The verification email contains your user name, password, and instructions on how
to access and verify your directory information, as well as access the AtoZ School
Directory App. If you have not already done so, please follow the directions outlined
in the email to confirm and update your family's information by Wednesday, October 25. Verification should only take a couple of minutes
and once you complete the verification process, you will have access to the directory
app. A printed directory will be distributed during Lancer Time in mid-November
to students whose families joined the PTA. It’s not too late to join the PTA and
receive a free directory - you can join by visiting www.longfellowpta.org.
If you did not receive a verification email or have any
other questions, please email the directory team at lms.ptadirectory@gmail.com.To receive a free copy of the directory, be
sure to join the Longfellow PTA.
Questions? Please email the directory team.
