Our fundraising goal is $15,000 and the money
will go towards school-wide technology, field trips, assemblies, and much
more! If we reach the goal, OCES will receive a popcorn, PJ, and movie day!

Laps for Learning T-shirts will be given to
those students who donate $30 or more and will be distributed in November.

Halloween Howl
The Halloween Howl is
right around the corner!
We will hold this
event on October 27th from 6:30-8:30. Activities include Trunk or Treat (some
families will decorate their cars and give out goodies to the kids), face painting,
a Monster Mash, cake walks and food.
Avoid long lines!
Advance ticket sale forms will be coming home in your child’s folder.

New Car Magnets
The awesome Olde Creek PTA has provided new car magnets for every family at our school. All students who participated in Laps for Learning received a magnet on the day of the fun run. Magnets are being sent home today (one per family) for students who were unable to be at Laps for Learning. Show your OCES pride with these great new car magnets!

Walk to School Day – October 26
Olde Creek will be celebrating Walk to School Day on Thursday, October 26. This event is paired with our Bike to School event in the Spring as a way to encourage alternate modes of transportation, to teach safe pedestrian skills, and to have fun. If your student lives too far or is unable to walk all the way to school, they can meet up with their classmates at a designated spot nearby and walk from there. More information will be coming home about this event later this month.
Olde Creek Bears Care Community Outreach Program
Olde Creek Elementary is pleased to kickoff the Olde Creek Bears Care Community Outreach Program! The primary focus of Bears Care this Fall will be to provide weekend food provisions to students in need in our own community. These students typically receive free or reduced priced meals during school days, which for many are the only meals they may receive.
To make this program successful, WE NEED YOUR HELP! We will be requesting food donations on a weekly basis through Sign-Up Genius. Food donations can be dropped off at Olde Creek's Front Office during regular office hours. Olde Creek School Directory
We have launched an online web student directory again this year. Please check your email for a message from, “Olde Creek Elementary PTA” (email address will be OldeCreek@atozconnect.com) with the subject “PTA student directory: verify your information”. This email contains a personalized link that you can use to verify or edit how your information will appear in the printed student directory and it will include instructions on how you can access the directory online. Remember to check your spam folders.
