Dear Stenwood Students and Parents,
Did you attend our PTA sponsored Ice Cream Social? That is one example of the wonderful events that our PTA plans for us. If you’ve never attended another school, you wouldn’t know that attending such an event and not having to pay for the ice cream is actually quite rare; most schools charge as a means of fundraising for the school. At Stenwood, our PTA uses the funds raised to host these fun gatherings. I share this to ask that you consider donating to our PTA if you have not done so already this school year. 20% of our school community has currently participated in our Help the Hive campaign. Wouldn’t it be great if we achieved 100% participation? No donation amount is too small.
Dreambox is yet another example of how your donations benefit our school, as the PTA funded this purchase for us again this year. FCPS recently updated how you access Dreambox--
DreamBox has a new URL and here it is!
Students can login to DreamBox using their unique network usernames and passwords. DreamBox Learning Math is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from a desktop, laptop, or iPad by logging in through the new website. This link can also be found inside your child’s Blackboard account, under the eCART tab. Click the Digital Ecosystem Core Tools menu.
