Olde Creek Families and Friends...
Good Afternoon!
As we head into the second week of the school year, we
wanted to send out a few reminders about the Safety Procedures we have in place
to ensure a smooth morning arrival each and every day.
- Our families that
use Kiss & Ride may drop off students beginning at 8:15. If you arrive at
the Kiss & Ride lane before 8:15, please do not drop off your child until
an Olde Creek staff member is present. If you arrive at Kiss & Ride after
8:30, please park and walk your child into the front office.
- Our students who
walk to school should plan to arrive between 8:15 and 8:25. At 8:15, the
cafeteria will open with staff supervision, and students may wait there until
the first bell at 8:25. Student walkers may not wait in front of the school
prior to 8:15 because no staff members will be available to supervise them.
- For
safety reasons, parents and students are not permitted to cross through
the bus lane, and staff members will be present to remind parents and
students of this policy. Please use the crosswalks that are available at
either end of our bus loop.
We are focused on ensuring a safe arrival and dismissal
each day for our students. We appreciate your support in helping our students
have a great start to their day at Olde Creek.
