We had a fantastic first week on the Hill! From students sharing their hopes and dreams for the year, to teachers establishing relationships, rules, and procedures - we were a well-oiled machine! Countless smiles and positive energy filled our classrooms and hallways every day. Our families commitment to our school community is a critical reason for our collective success. Thank you! |
Back to School Night is Thursday at 6:00 PM! Your attendance is expected! This night is intended for adults only. We will not gather in the cafeteria first like past years, but begin our evening in classrooms. There will be two sessions offered by teachers to accommodate siblings. The second session will begin at 6:50 and our event concludes at 7:30. Teachers have prepared a formal presentation for you, but will not have individual parent conferences. Don't forget to visit with our Specialists as well!
PTA Back to School BBQ is Friday starting at 5:00 PM! Come out for a relaxing and fun evening with the community! Come anytime after 5:00 for some good eats, games, and time to connect with one another.
Lockdown Drill Friday - All students and staff will participate in the lockdown drill. During this drill, we secure ourselves inside to simulate a risk within the building. The drill typically only lasts a few minutes.
Cell phone policy - Although student cell phones may come to school, they must remain in your child's bookbag for the day. If students need to call home, they will use the classroom or office phone.
Dismissal numbers - Please make sure you have one! They can be picked up from the office. A number is required for kiss and ride and walkers being picked up at the SACC door. Parents may not linger in the lobby to pickup their child for security reasons.
BlackBoard classroom websites - Access will be delayed due to a change with our student information system and will be available after September 29th.
