The GBE PTA BOARD ELECTIONS ARE NEXT WEEK!
Elections will be held at the next PTA meeting
Wednesday, May 17th at 6:30pm
GBE Library
We will be accepting nominations for all positions from the floor
at the meeting.

Executive Board:
____ President: Presides over all Board and
General Meetings. Oversees all PTA Activities, Schedules and Budget. Acts
as liaison between Parents, Principal and Staff. Speaks at Back to School
Night and other PTA events. Oversees all PTA committees except Nominating and
Audit. Helps execute activities as needed.
____ 1st Vice President
(Programs): Acts
as aid to President and serves in their absence. Serves as Programs
Chair. Monitors and coordinates events and programs.
____ 2nd Vice President
(Communications): Acts as aid to President and serves in their absence. Serves
as Communications Chair. Monitors and coordinates communication
throughout all media platforms.
____ Treasurer: Responsible for Management,
Collection and Distribution of Annual Budget of approximately $80,000 to
$100,000. Presents a financial report at every meeting; Submits
books to Audit Committee. Prepares organization’s tax return.
____ Secretary: Takes and presents minutes at
Board and General Meetings. Maintains a membership list as required by the
Virginia PTA. Performs other delegated duties as assigned.
