International Night
Share your smile with the world. Daniels Run PTA announces International Night 2017 Friday, March 17, 2017 6:00PM-8:00PM. Join us for an evening of food, stories, crafts and more. If you would like to host a booth to share your family's heritage or if you would like to volunteer to help make the evening run smoothly, please go to www.danielsrunpta.org and click on the "volunteer" tab. PTA Meeting & Speaker - March 16th, 7pm
Mark your calendars to join us for our next PTA meeting on Thursday, March 16th at 7:00PM. After a short business meeting, we will have the opportunity to hear parenting specialist, Rachel Bailey, MA, CPDPE in her presentation "Raising Self-Confident Children in a High-Pressure Culture". Learn the true origin of self-confidence, help your children stop comparing themselves to others, and learn a simple, 3-step strategy to help your child handle any obstacle. Child care will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
Green Turtle Spirit Night - March 14th
Plan to take a night off from cooking and join fellow Daniels Run families at Green Turtle for dinner while supporting DRE PTA at the same time. A portion of proceeds from the nights' sales will be donated back to DRE. Look for upcoming flyers in Thursday folders for more information.
Spring BOGO Book Fair
Do you or your kids enjoy the Buy One, Get One (BOGO) Book Fair? If so, then please sign up to volunteer. We are planning our spring book fair for April 3-5th, with family night being April 5th from 4-8pm. This is the BOGO (Buy One Get One FREE) book fair and a huge favorite for the kids. However, to make this happen WE NEED VOLUNTEERS and lots of them. If we do not have volunteers filling the majority of slots by March 2nd we will be forced to cancel the fair. Without enough volunteers we cannot have the book fair. Please check the link below for sign up opportunities; they are in one hour slots. Even if you are not a PTA member you can create an account and sign up at http://www.danielsrunpta.org and select the Volunteer Tab.
