Dear Stone Parents and Guardians,
I wanted to take a minute to say “Thank You” for your support this year. This past year seems to have quickly come and gone and I have felt a tremendous sense of support and encouragement from each of you. To work each day with your sons and daughters is a great privilege and I am grateful to be a part of such a caring community.
This week we inducted over 125 rising eighth graders into the National Junior Honor Society and over 100 rising ninth graders received their NJHS pins and certificates. We are so proud of our Rising 9th graders and looking forward to working with our rising 8th grade students in this wonderful organization.
We had a wonderful celebration with our 8th grade students at the 8th grade party on Thursday night. Thank you to the PTSA and all the parents for supporting this event. The end of any school year is filled with a mixture of excitement and sadness. At Stone we are sad to see our eighth grade students leave, but excited for them as they embark on their new adventures in high school. We wish them great success and look forward to hearing about their new experiences. They will be missed.
THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL is Thursday, June 23rd. Students will be dismissed at 12:15 pm. Final Assessments and grades will be entered for all students by Wednesday, June 22nd. Final report cards will be mailed on Friday, July 1st.
Thank you for your continued support and all you do for the students and staff at Stone!

DRESS CODE
As the weather continues to get warmer, please remind your students to dress appropriately for school. A few tips to remember include (but are not limited to):
• Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be longer than fingertips when arms are extended at side
• Tops must have straps or sleeves (no tank tops or halter tops)
• Pants and shorts should not sag or undergarments showing
Students who are in violation of the dress code will be asked to change, and the parent/guardian may be called to bring alternate clothing if necessary. We appreciate your support in this area as we strive to maintain consistency between home and school.

We still have a few yearbooks for sale. They will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Yearbooks will be sold for $40.00 (CASH ONLY) until they are sold out. Yearbooks will be distributed during Panther Block on June 20th.
