The Yearbook Has Arrived
8th Grade Day & Dance - Friday, June 10th
A Message from Mr. Bergquist, 8th Grade Assistant Principal
8th
Grade Parents: WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
There are
some very exciting events coming up for your 8th grade student. On
Friday, June 10th we have planned 8th Grade Day during
the school day, and the 8th Grade Dance is planned during the
evening. Here is where we need your help… ,
As we
get closer to the end of the year, occasionally we encounter students who start
to let their work habits decline and we also tend to have more behavioral
problems. We are asking for your help in encouraging your student to
finish up the school year strong. The class of 2020 has worked hard to build
character and achieve high academic standards set forth by Robinson. As an
incentive to maintain positive behavior and academic achievement, students are
being informed that they may lose access to the end of the year activities if
they are unable to persevere during the last few days of school leading up to
these activities.
Information
regarding 8th grade day and volunteer opportunities was sent
home based on student team.
Robinson
Middle School 8th Grade Dance - Starry Night Theme
On Friday,
June 10th, from 7:00-9:00 pm, Robinson 8th Grade faculty
and staff are hosting the 8th Grade Dance in the gold cafeteria.
This dance is for eighth grade students only, to celebrate all of their
accomplishments as middle school students before they enter high school. While
this school does not encourage “danceproposals”, nor require tuxedo rentals, or
boutonnieres, we do ask that students “Dress to Impress”. The dress code
outlined in the Students’ Rights and Responsibilities will be strictly
enforced. Additionally, it is requested that students do not wear sweat pants,
jeans, shorts, flip flops, etc.
Tickets go on sale for $5 during both lunches beginning June 3rd. This is the
can't miss event of the year! No tickets will be sold at the door.
Your continued support of Robinson’s
academic standards and character development are greatly appreciated.
