Teacher Appreciation Week - May 2-6
Have you written a note to your child’s teacher?  Has your child written a note?  Please take a minute to express your appreciation.  It means so much!
Thank you to all of the awesome volunteers who donated items for the Teacher Appreciation lunch.  Thank you to Diane Mitchell, Cherie Kronimus, Liz MacDonald, Jennifer George, JulieAnn Weston, Amy Roundtree, Cathy Green, Melissa Tucker, Tammy Lassiter, Nancy Render, Anna Pandey and Stephanie Kohout.
Thank you to Susan Patterson and Vanessa Moore for planning and serving the lunch!  The teachers loved it!


International Week – The format for International Week has changed a little.  The after school gathering will be Thursday, May 5.  We will have an area for tri-folds, food samples and artifacts but will not have formal stations.  Kids will enjoy international games, music and dancing.  Hot dogs, chips and salsa will be served.
For International Week on Friday, May 6 – Dress up as a tourist.  (e.g. fanny pack, sunglasses, cameras, shorts, floral/Hawaiian shirts, etc.)


BoxTops Competition – Please send your BoxTops to school and have your child give them to their Panther Block teacher.  We are holding our last competition of the year.  It adds up!  Please send your BoxTops to school.  Mr. Kogut’s panther block won the last competition. 


Glory Days Fundraiser – If you went to Glory Days during the fundraiser, please send your itemized receipt to the school office ASAP.

iCan Bike After School Program
A week-long program at 10 different FCPS Middle Schools during March, April, May or June.
Ambulatory students with disabilities (ages 8 and older) learn to ride two-wheel bicycles by using adapted bicycles, a specialized instructional program, and trained staff.  Student volunteers help.

Introduction to Special Education
