From the Beltway to I-81, I-66 studies, led by VDOT and DRPT, focus on improving traffic flow, safety, and multimodal options, including projects like Transform 66 Express Lanes and Active Traffic Management systems. Past studies have led to dynamic tolling and congestion management, all aiming for faster, safer, and more reliable travel. Amy’s workshop proved that even roads can have star power.
